1987 Corvette Convertible For Sale

1987 Corvette Convertible For Sale Stock #2321P Bright Red exterior, Red leather interior, Black convertible top. 240hp 350ci L98 engine, automatic transmission, posi rear-end. No doubt a milestone year, 1987 was the first full model year that a Corvette came with a factory roller camshaft and the new centerbolt aluminum cylinder head design. This RARE Red/Red 1987 Corvette Convertible was, until recently a very nice low mileage car, but could be brought back to its former glory with mostly cosmetics. Showing just over 65,000 miles when we originally sold it in 2004, this car is now back with us with 127,881 miles. Carfax is clean with no accidents. Paint on this car is in overall fair condition, with a faded/spiderwebbed rear bumper and a few spots on the rear deck where the clearcoat has failed. However, this paint would probably look mostly presentable if it were buffed. Convertible top is in overall good condition with a relatively clear rear window and no rips or tears. Driver's side window sweep looks to have been replaced and is in good condition; passenger side window sweep is completely deteriorated and in poor condition. Door and window seals are in fair condition with typical light cracking. Taillights are in good condition with no cracks, although the driver side outer light looks to have been knocked out of alignment. Windshield is cracked and should probably be replaced. A set of 1993-96 17 inch factory style wheels have been added, and are in overall good condition. This car wears Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires in the front, which are dry-rotted and showing an average of 4/32nds tread depth remaining. Rear tires are mismatched and show 0/32nds tread depth remaining. That being said, this car should MUST be picked up with a trailer and should not be driven until the tires are replaced. This 1987 Corvette Convertible shows dry factory leather sport seats in overall poor condition, with a few tears. Leather steering wheel cover has partially melted away and is in poor condition, as is the carpet. Center console is fair with deep scratches, with a completely deteriorated console lid, although the RPO sticker is intact. Radio is missing. Dash pad is in good condition with no cracks, and the door panels are in fair condition. Gauges seem to light up fine with no major issues. The only addition to this car appears to be a set of polished door sill protectors with the Corvette logo. This is a great project that can be driven safely with minimal work -- give us a call! Factory features include leather sport seats, automatic transmission, electronic climate control, radiator boost fan, heavy duty radiator, cruise control, twin remote heated mirrors, power locks, Bose cassette stereo (head unit missing), ABS, power windows, power steering, power brakes, power mirrors, power antenna, tilt-n-tele. 127K Miles. Our Price: $6,900 or 10% down with payments as low as $133/month W.A.C.

1981 Corvette

1981 Corvette For Sale Stock #1757P Silver Blue exterior, code correct Dark Blue leather interior, painted glass t-tops. Numbers matching 180hp 350ci engine, automatic transmission, posi rear-end. Assembled on June 16, 1981, this Corvette is in very nice condition, and has obviously been well cared-for. The paint on this car appears to be newer, and shows very few flaws with an excellent shine. Exterior paint code on trim tag shows code 28. Glass t-tops have been painted on the outside to match the car, but are in very good condition nonetheless with no cracks or breaks. If desired, these tops could probably be stripped and returned to their original glass finish. Exterior chrome door handles appear to have been replaced at some point, and are in great shape with no pitting and tight return springs. Weatherstripping looks to have been replaced as well, and is nice and soft. Taillights are in good original condition, showing some hairline cracks. Factory slotted aluminum wheels are in very good condition with no curb rash, and wear radial raised white letter tires with roughly 65% treadlife remaining. Appearing to be newer leatherette material, the seat covers in this 1981 Corvette are in very good condition with no rips or tears and no wrinkles. The steering wheel in this car looks to be very recent if not brand new, and shows extremely well with no cracking, scratches, or fingernail scuffs. Gauges have excellent clear lenses and show minor fading on the faces and needles; carpet is correct cut pile, and looks to be very recent with little to no wear and no apparent fading. Center console plate is excellent with no fading or scratches and appears to be brand new; GM seatbelts are still in place and in very nice condition with little wear. A Pioneer CD stereo has been installed, and shows model number DEH-415. The storage bins in this car are in excellent condition, with no breaks in the frames or pull handles. A black carpeted Dash Mat is currently installed, and is in nice condition. Door panels are very nice with no rips or tears, although there is a patch on the driver's side where a non-electric remote mirror control would have been located. The numbers matching engine in this 1981 Corvette shows a build date of May 21, 1981, and wears a correct GM intake and dual snorkel air cleaner. A set of longtube headers have been added to this car some time ago. 1981 remains the only year Corvette to have a computer-controlled Rochester carburetor, and although the stamp indicates that this Quadrajet carburetor is from a 1987 model year GM product, it has all of the same computer and emissions parts that would have been installed on a 1981 Corvette. This car features a rust-free frame and birdcage. This is an extremely nice car with excellent cosmetics, needing little besides a new owner! Factory features include glass t-tops, air conditioning, cruise control, rear defrost, tilt-n-tele, power windows, power locks, power steering, power mirrors, power brakes, aluminum wheels. Our Price: REDUCED!! $9,900 or 10% down with payments as low as $320/month W.A.C.

This car wears slotted aluminum wheels, which are in good condition. These wheels are missing two center caps; the other two center caps are faded. Tires are BF Goodrich Radial T/A raised white letter with an average of 8/32nds tread depth remaining in the front, and an average of 7/32nds tread depth remaining in the rear. 1972 Corvette Convertible For Sale

1972 Corvette Convertible For Sale Stock #2220P Red exterior, code correct Black leather interior, Black convertible top, vinyl-covered auxiliary hardtop. 240hp 350ci engine, automatic transmission, posi rear-end. Originally assembled on January 19, 1972, this locally-owned, ONE OWNER survivor 1972 Corvette Convertible has seen better days cosmetically, but has TONS of potential as it is LOADED with factory options, and runs and drives with cold air conditioning. Paint on this car looks to be relatively old, and is in overall poor condition with little shine, plenty of stress cracks, and factory bonding strips showing through. Original exterior color code is 987. With the exception of the windshield, all glass in this car including the hardtop shows a correct date code. Although we have not yet removed the hardtop to check, we suspect that the convertible top will need to be replaced as well. Auxiliary hardtop is in very good condition; original weatherstripping is rotted and in poor condition. Both original exterior door handles show sagging return springs, and are in overall poor condition, although they are both operable. Original chrome bumpers show plenty of patina and a few rust spots; two out of the four taillights are cracked. This 1972 Corvette Convertible wears rally wheels in fair condition, with fair condition trim rings and center caps. Tires are outlined white letter radials with 8/32nds tread remaining. The interior of this car shows poor condition factory leather seat covers, door panels, carpet, and center console. Steering wheel is in good condition; dash pad shows a crack on the speaker grille, but is in otherwise good condition; gauges show some very minor fading and relatively clear lenses. Clock is in working condition at the time of this write-up, and GM seatbelts are in place as well. Original AM/FM radio is also present. Although the original engine was not kept, a new 350ci GM "Targetmaster" crate engine was installed in 1990, with just 11,000 miles put on the car since then. Intake manifold and alternator show correct casting numbers; a Holley Quadrajet Replacement carburetor has taken the place of the original Quadrajet. Recent work includes a new starter motor, fuel tank and sending unit, brake calipers and pads, brake master cylinder and booster, tachometer cable and gears, and air conditioning service. Included documents consist of a Corvette America assembly manual, a few old repair invoices from 1989-90, and a letter from the original owner with a brief history of the car. Although the title states mileage as exempt for this car, the original owner claims it has 113,560 original miles. Frame is solid. We frequently have requests for early C3 project cars, but they are becoming very difficult to find -- call us now before this one becomes a two owner car! Factory features include air conditioning, deluxe interior, auxiliary hardtop, vinyl covering for auxiliary hardtop, power steering, power brakes, alarm, AM/FM radio, automatic transmission. Our Price: $19,900 or 10% down with payments as low as $383/month W.A.C.
