Certified/2 Year/50K Additional Mile Warranty
This warranty is included with most of our Corvettes when purchased at advertised price, and is valid in all 50 U.S. states. This warranty covers 50% of the repair costs per occurrence. Other exclusions apply -- please see a salesman for details or see the actual scanned contract here.
ENGINE
All internally lubricated parts of engine, including pistons, piston pins, crankshaft and main bearings, connecting rods and bearings, camshaft and camshaft bearings, timing chain and timing gears, intake and exhaust valves, valve springs, oil pump, pushrods, rocker arms, hydraulic lifters, rocker arm shafts and water pump. The engine block and cylinder heads are also covered if the above listed parts caused a mechanical failure.
TRANSMISSION
Internally lubricated parts of manual or automatic transmissions, including torque converter case if damaged by the failure of an internally lubricated part, oil pump, drums, planetaries, sun gear and shell, shaft(s), bearings, shift rail, forks, and synchronizers.
MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS
To obtain the benefits provided under this limited warranty, it is the responsibility of the owner to:
A) Require that the engine oil and engine oil filter be changed by a commercial service facility every 3 months or 3,000 miles (whichever occurs first) when using conventional motor oil, or every 6 months or 6,000 miles (whichever occurs first) when using synthetic oil. This interval must be observed immediately following the purchase date/mileage of the car. Proper documented and variable receipts for oil and engine oil filter changes will be required in the event of a claim. Handwritten receipts will not be accepted.
B) Require that the transmission fluid be serviced within 12 months of the product purchase date and every 12 months thereafter. Proper documented and verifiable receipts will be required in the event of a claim. Handwritten receipts will not be accepted.
C) Continue maintenance of covered component(s) as outlined the vehicle owner's manual. Service invoices and receipts must be presented in case of a claim.
TRANSFERS
This limited warranty is NOT tranferrable to another owner.
12 Month/12K Additional Mile NIADA Certified Warranty
This no-deductible warranty is included with most of our later model Corvettes when purchased at advertised price. This warranty is valid in all 50 U.S. states, as well as Canada. Exclusions apply -- please see a salesman for details, or see the actual scanned contract here.
ENGINE
All internally lubricated parts within the engine plus the timing chain, timing chain tensioner, oil pump drive sprocket, oil pump, primary fuel pump, oil dipstick and tube, flywheel and ring gear, flexplate, motor mounts, intake and exhaust manifolds, harmonic balancer, engine block, and cylinder heads. The oil pan and valve covers are only covered if damaged by an internally lubricated part.
TRANSMISSION
All internally lubricated parts located within the transmission case plus the torque converter, vacuum modulator, and transmisssion mounts. Transmission case and oil pan are only covered if damaged by an internally lubricated part.
DRIVE AXLE
All internally lubricated parts within the drive axle plus the CV joints, double offset joints, driveshaft/yokes, center carrier bearings, propeller shafts. The drive axle housing is only covered if damaged by an internally lubricated part.
ELECTRICAL
Starter motor, starter solenoid, starter drive, alternator, voltage regulator, ignition module, camshaft sensor, ECM, wiper motor, washer motor, analog gauges, electric manual switches, electronic instrument cluster, electronic ignition management controls, electronic fuel management controls, power window motor, power door lock actuators, convertible top motor, cruise control servo, cruise control module, power seat motor, power antenna motor, and power mirror motor.
BRAKES
Master cylinder, brake booster, hydraulic lines and fittings, calipers, rear actuators, ABS sensors, and ABS pump.
STEERING
Power steering pump, all internal parts located within the rack and pinion assembly, steering column shaft, and steering shaft couplings. The steering box is only covered if damaged by an internally lubricated part.
AIR CONDITIONING
Compressor, compressor clutch, compressor pulley, receiver/dryer, accumulator, evaporator, condenser, expansion valve, orifice tube, high-low cutoff switches, a/c tensioner assembly, and automatic temperature control programmer.
FRONT AND REAR SUSPENSION
Upper and lower control arms, ball joints, wheel bearings, spindles, torsion bar, stabilizer bar, linkage, and stabilizer shaft.
FUEL SYSTEM
Fuel pump, metal fuel lines, mass air flow sensor, map sensor, fuel tank, float, and sending unit.
COOLING SYSTEM
Water pump, heater core, radiator, cooling fan motor, clutch blade, blower motor, and cooling recovery unit.
SEALS AND GASKETS
Seals and gaskets on all listed components are covered.
TRANSFERS
This limited warranty is NOT tranferrable to another owner.
